Research: ATLANTA HAWKS

The Atlanta Hawks are a professional basketball team based in Atlanta, Georgia.
They are part of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA.
They play their home games at Philips Arena.
In 1946, Hawks joined NBL. Since 1949, Hawks joined NBA.

To survive the current NBA team Atlanta Hawks team with the oldest one single among.

In 1968, the team moved to Atlanta, Georgia and it was renamed with Atlanta Hawks following the current team name.

AFLAC was founded in 1995 in Columbus of Georgia by Johns, Paul and William Amos brothers.


In the first year, the company singed over 6000 policyholders.
The company offers many types of insurance policies in the U.S.A now ,for example, Accident, Dental and Life. However in Japan, the company offers just two type of insurance which are Life insurance and Medical insurance. 
The company's total assents were more than $124 billion, and the company insured more than 5 million people all over the world in September 30, 2012.


The company made a main mascot which is Aflac Duck in 2000.

Today, I went to DELTA FLIGHT MUSEUM and Mr. Kart talked us.

DELTA's slogan is

1. Operation of Airplane

   

   ・DELTA is doing to departure on time because Time is most important thing for      passengers.

2. Things what passengers want to

   ・DELTA wants to adopt many new generation systems, for example, on line check-in system.

   ・DELTA is including about Atlanta Airport to become cozy good. 

   

3. Employs' happiness

    ・DELTA hopes DELTA's employs become happy.

    ・DELTA guess employs' happiness is worth doing for job.

    ・If employs feel worth doing for job, it will connect to deal with passengers.

    ・Finally, they those things connect to business.

・Mr.Kart said Asia is bigger market than other areas and Asia's business is big so, DELTA focus on Asia.

・In July 9th, DELTA will open a new route that fly Seattle to Shanghai.

・Now, DELTA focus on Seattle and Detroit because they are located near Asia.

・DELTA's flights are flying to Narita from 7 The U.S' cities.

・DELTA focus on Japan about member of employs and routs next The U.S.

・DELTA is supporting for Kei Nishikori who is Japanese tennis player and Yomiuru Giants which is a Japanese professional baseball team.

・DELTA is a good company because it take care of employs at first.

・I guess Asia will become big so, their choice is good.

Delta Airlines was created Huff Daland Dusters, incorporated, an aerial crop dusting operation in 1924 in Macon of Georgia.
Formed with Huff Daland Duster, the first true crop duster, the plan was deployed to combat the boll weevil in 1925. Delta Air Corporation owned the plane. Delta Airlines moved to Monroe in 1925.
Collett E. Woolman, is one of the original directors, purchased the company in 1928, and renamed it for Delta Air Service.
In 1929, it begin to carry passengers.
In 1941, the company moved to Atlanta.
The company renamed it for Delta Airlines in 2008.

Delta's corporate headquarters is located on Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This location has served Delta's headquarters since 1941. To housing Delta's corporation headquarters, Heartsfield- Jackson is also the home of Delta's technical Operation center which is Airline's primary maintenance repair and overhaul arm.
